The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was quiet and we couldn’t hear anything from the outside. Room temperature was good. Beds were comfy. Hot shower and bathroom had enough space. We loved the tea that was offered in the reception and the kind support of the lady at the front desk who allowef us to checkin or at least keep our luggage as we arrived earlier. We recommend this parisian Hotel

Very good and nice hotel in paris 11,near the Marais with a garden. I booked a double room and we were upgraded free My room was huge for 2 persons We leave our suitcases until midnight. I will be back sure for next time in Paris .,for olympics game.

Good hotel in center of Paris. Charming staff and helpful. My room was space and Nice. Buffet Breakfast is delicious and cheaper. Nice garden Possible to leave the luggage Free for the day with security place. I will come back sure for next time in Paris .

RACISM, MISOGY and verbal HARASSMENT

I am a cis gender woman and HÔTEL ALHAMBRA WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The owner of the hotel was RACIST and MISOGYNIST and I suffered verbal HARASSMENT from him. Before booking the hotel I called the staff and asked if it would be possible to, after the check out, leave my bag in the safe room of the hotel for 4 hours, because my flight was in the night and the checkout at 11am. The staff of the hotel said yes, it was possible and no issue and I booked a room. At 10 am, 1 hour before the check out time, I closed the room that I was staying and took my bag to the receiption. The person in charge of the hotel (in the video and pictures attached here) placed my bag in the open air corridor of the rooms of the hotel, outside any rooms, just in the guest open air corridor in the garden. I said I would't feel safe leaving by suitcase without any surveilance, in the middle of the corridors, a place of passage of guests and visitors of the hotel, and asked for him to keep the suitcase on a proper room - just as I had confirmed before making the reservation. OUT OF THE NOWHERE he than started violently yealling at me, calling me names due to my ORIGINS and GENDER, THROWS my luggage in the middle of the public street and EXPELLS ME from the hotel before my check out time, THREATENING TO HIT ME. I manage to film a small part of it and shivering, crying and terified, I left, running. RACISM, MISOGY and verbal HARASSMENT ARE CRIMES. This person is a criminal.

It was ok but if i had the chance i would choose something else for that money. Liked · The oberkamf metro station was right outside the hotel which made transportation to all locations very easy and it was surrounded but very nice restaurants / bistros. Bed was comfortable, hot water was available and at good pressure. Disliked · cleanliness was below average and always there was a cart in the tiny corridors limiting access and we had to ask for bath / soap as its not provided daily or change towels / sheets and when we checked in hair were found on the beds of both rooms we booked, rooms were tiny restricting access if both persons tried to pass at the same time, heating was controlled and couldn't be put higher, the lift was only for three persons hardly and we were 4, key had to be given at the property every time we left the room, if stayed outside the hotel after 12 we had to ring the bell to open for us. City tax was supposed to be 2 euro per day per person but when we checked we had to pay 5.70 euro per day per person and when reception was asked about it we were told that it was raised just before we arrived. Very thin walls / floors so we could hear people walking, flushing, sneezing, talking etc. from all directions and we were put right next to the it.. ‐‐---‐---‐------- This is reply from Manager to other customer : Madam, Following your comment, we would like to add our own. You have a Comfort Twin and not superior, we have already upgraded for free.( you can find response on booking .com ) ‐-‐------------ In my case it was oposite !!! We had 2 rooms One is Confort twin - for my kids - IT WAS LETS SAY COMFORTABLE For 2 !! Our room it was SUPERIOR !! And it was more expensive then Twin confortable Room !! So I expected to be better then Confort Twin room !! BUT !! BUT I have asked the receptionist Why my room is more expensive but more small... the reply was This is Paris !!!! It was much smaller then Confort Twin room , windows was not opening ( room 403) , the wardrobe is was hardly for one person , not for 2.. Not to say , that 2 persons cannot walk the same time in the room !¡ One more thing... to complain too !! At the hotel of 3 *** I asked on the the 3rd day ( from 6 days;staying ) if they are providing with the free toiletries.. they replied to me was That I have to ask for it!! We WERE 4 , I have to ask for shampoo, shower gel ??? ? l am very sorry.. for 3 star hotel, I have TO ASK FOR shampoo!!! Not to say that we found hair on the bed , without looking for it of course in both of the rooms!!! Never mind, there was a carefour and mini markets , that u can buy anything u like.. But for the money we paid for 4 persons for 2 rooms , I believe it was an over priced !!!!! And like u can see in other comments , that for the winter time , is a very good to have a kettle in the toom. Just to have a warm tea , after lang walks in beautiful Paris 😛 ❤️ LOCATION IS perfect. You can walk to all attractions , but u can take a subway M9 or M5 to many sineseens. ! Just 50 m away from the hotel . 1❤️💢 Nice Restaurants / bar just near the hotel l
